I use these a lot in my speakers, they generally work better in nice hardwoods, and even then only when the grain is pretty well behaved.
In this case I’m using some really nice walnut. Sometimes walnut can be a bit brittle, but this stuff cut really nicely.
I like to do mitred corners in combination with a beaded edge.
Some of the tiny chisels I own that make this possible.
I find that having both a finely tapered chisel and a heavier beveled one to be pretty handy.
Was pretty pleased when I managed to chop this one out in one.
